Pete Carroll’s tour to promote his new book, “Win Forever,” has gone Coast to Coast to Coast.
After traveling Left to Right (Coasts, that is) for a slew of appearances this week, the Seahawks coach returned to the West Coast on Thursday. He’ll have four signings and a couple of speeches in the Seattle area next week.
What’s the book all about? The subhead provides a not-so-subtle clue: “Live, Work, and Play Like a Champion.” But if you’d like more before attending one of Carroll’s appearances next week, check out this review by PI.com’s Jim Moore.
Carroll’s schedule Thursday included a cross-country flight, 11 interviews, another book signing and a 95-mile drive from San Diego to Huntington Beach. Ben Malcolmson is accompanying Carroll on the whirlwind tour and has been providing daily updates and even photos on Carroll’s website, PeteCarroll.com.
Thursday’s book signing was held at San Diego’s Hall of Champions, and attracted more than 200 people. Read Malcolmson’s account here.
But wait, there’s more. A lot more.
Like Carroll’s two-minute drill of an interview schedule on Day One, which you can check out here. Or the standing-room-only crowd that greeted Carroll for his signing at the Broders in Manhattan on Day Two, which you can read about here. Or another 11-interview/book-signing adventure in the New York/New Jersey area on Day Three, which is detailed here.
This is Carroll’s welcome-home schedule for next week:
Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. – Speech and book signing at Town Hall Seattle, 1119 Eighth Ave. Sponsored by University Books.
Thursday, 7 p.m. – Signing at the Bellevue Barnes & Noble, 626 106th Ave. NE.
