Pete Carroll’s tour to prompt his book, “Win Forever,” continues. But the first-year coach of the Seahawks is gracing more than the jacket of that book.

Carroll is on the cover of today’s online edition of Sporting News. Inside is this report on the team by Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times. The Seahawks begin training camp practices on Saturday, July 31. The rookies are scheduled to report to camp on July 29, with the veterans to follow on the 30th.

The book tour, meanwhile, moves to the Seattle area next week. You can catch Carroll, buy his book and have him autograph it at the following events:

Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. – Speech and book signing at Town Hall Seattle, 1119 Eighth Ave. Sponsored by University Books.

Thursday, 7 p.m. – Signing at the Bellevue Barnes & Noble, 626 106th Ave. NE.

Friday, noon – Speech and signing at the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce. You must purchase tickets for this event at the Westin, 1900 Fifth Ave.

Saturday, noon – Signing at QFC Ballard, 5700 24th Ave. NW.
