The Seahawks have released defensive tackle Barrett Moen and replaced him on the roster with defensive tackle Jonathan Lewis, the team announced this afternoon.
Lewis was originally drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the sixth-round (177th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. He has also spent time with Oakland, Seattle, Detroit, Jacksonville and Cleveland, before re-joining Seattle on a tryout basis in this week’s minicamp. He played in four games his rookie season and collected four solo tackles.
Seattle had signed Moen on June 9.
