Coach Pete Carroll is comparing today to the last day of school — and for good reason.
The Seahawks wrap up their two-day minicamp and their entire offseason training with today’s meetings and practice, which close out more than three months of almost daily preparation and send the players and coaches on a five-week break.
Needless to say, Carroll is pushing his make-the-most-of-the-moment mantra to extreme degrees this morning.
“It’s the only day we got!” Carroll said during the morning staff meeting, buoyed by excitement. “Let’s finish with one last great day and let’s have a blast out there.”
