The door to Coach Pete Carroll’s corner office at Virginia Mason Athletic Center is hardly ever closed, but when it is, he means business.
But that didn’t stop general manager John Schneider from lightening the mood this morning.
With Carroll on the phone behind a closed office door, Schneider walked up, knocked and had a few words to get the head coach’s attention.
“Housekeeping!” Schneider screeched in an extremely high voice.
Carroll, obviously amused, called Schneider in and the two carried on with their business — but not before the general manager had entertained himself and the coach.
