Break in the action
Every once in a while, Coach Pete Carroll throws a bone to his players.
This is one of those times.
Carroll gave the players today off from strength and conditioning workouts, providing them a break during the penultimate week of team-sanctioned offseason workouts. Players have the option of working out this morning, but the head coach’s intention is to let the players recuperate between OTA days.
“You’ve done a fantastic job so far this offseason,” Carroll told the players on Tuesday. “We love what you’re doing.”
The Seahawks just have their final OTA on Thursday and a three-day minicamp next week before breaking for five weeks.
