Like oil prospectors, the Seahawks are placing a premium on potential value.
But now they just need to get closer to the actual results.
Today, the Seahawks begin the 13th week of their offseason program, and while much has been accomplished so far this spring, the focus remains on what can be done next. No. 1 on the priority list centers on turning promise into reality through workouts, meetings and practices over the next two weeks, which include OTAs on Tuesday and Thursday and a three-day minicamp next week.
“We have tons of potential, we just have to bring it to the surface,” Coach Pete Carroll said. “This is our chance to finish. Are we going to do it well or not?”
