The Seahawks have signed two more draft choices – linebacker Dexter Davis and tight end Jameson Konz, who were selected in the seventh round.
Davis was drafted as a defensive end, after collecting 31 sacks in 50 starts at Arizona State. But he has been working at strong-side linebacker in the most recent OTA practices. Konz was listed as a wide receiver when the team selected him, but he was switched to tight end at the post-draft minicamp.
Two rookie free agents – defensive end Will Tukuafu and defensive tackle Barrett Moen – also have been signed. We’ll have more on Tukuafu later today.
To clear roster spots, four players were released: free safety Quinton Teal, tight end Michael Allen, wide receiver Patrick Carter and linebacker Kevin Dixon.
Davis and Konz join sixth-round pick Anthony McCoy, a tight end from USC, is signing their rookie contracts.
