We’ve touched on the trials and tribulations of Aaron Curry’s rookie season this offseason, as you read here.
But ESPN.com’s John Clayton was at the team’s OTA practice on Tuesday and filed this story on the progress and preparation of last year’s first-round draft choice.
As the multi-talented linebacker told Clayton, “I didn’t know what I was doing exactly. You do things in training camp but when you get into the regular season, you feel as though you don’t have any techniques to get the job done.”
How far as Curry come? When defensive coordinator Gus Bradley kept rookie Dexter Davis after practice Tuesday to work on his transition from pass-rushing defensive end to strong-side linebacker, Curry also was there – and he continued to discuss some of the finer points of playing the spot as he and Davis made their way to the locker room.
