Bridging the gap

With daylight screaming through the opaque window panes in the VMAC indoor practice facility, the Seahawks quietly gathered in the south end zone just before their morning workout start time.

It was then time to work.

“Here we go, hand down!” head strength and conditioning coach Chris Carlisle bellowed before a short burst of a whistle at exactly 7:30 a.m.

And just like that, the Seahawks got down to business. Less than 24 hours after meetings and practice during Tuesday’s OTA, the Seahawks are back in action this morning in 60-minute sessions that include movement drills and weightlifting. The workouts serve as the bridge between this week’s OTAs, with the team set to conduct its ninth OTA on Thursday morning.
