The day’s first whistle sounded right on time — well, one minute early at 7:29, to be exact — to begin this morning’s strength and conditioning session in the indoor practice facility.
Add to it that the coaches’ offices are already bustling with activity, and one thing’s for sure.
The Seahawks are back.
After a 10-day break from the offseason grind, players and coaches have returned to work at Virginia Mason Athletic Center this morning. Players are in 72-minute movement-based workouts in the weight room and on the field, while coaches are in offensive and defensive meetings to get back to practice planning and playbook production.
The team’s eighth OTA of the offseason will be Tuesday, when the team will gather starting at 8 a.m. for meetings and a no-pads practice. The Seahawks will follow a Tuesday, Thursday OTA routine for the next two weeks before a three-day voluntary minicamp on June 22-24.
