The coaches will be taking a hands-off approach during this morning’s practice at VMAC.
Instead of coaching on the field directly behind the line of scrimmage, the staff will mimic what they do in games by coaching from the sideline and letting the players play. It’s a major step toward the final product that’ll take the field this fall.
“What we’re trying to teach is for you to trust in your preparation,” Carroll told his players this morning. “We want to be a team that prepares beautifully, so this is a test for you.
“Do like you’ve prepared to do. That’s all we can ask.”
