Sudden shift
The past few practices have focused on red zone work, two-minute drill and fringe-area strategies.
Now add another scenario to the list for today’s practice.
The Seahawks will put a special emphasis on “sudden change” during this morning’s workout, focusing on the set of plays that occur immediately after a turnover.
For the offense, the goal is simple — “make something happen,” Carroll told his players this morning. For the defense, it’s all about keeping the opponent’s offense at bay for as long as possible, because a takeaway could be just around the corner.
“If we get one more snap, something good can happen,” Carroll said.
