Situational improvement
Like a puzzle, the pieces are coming together.
During the ongoing OTAs, each day features the installation of a new chapter of the team’s strategy on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. Monday featured a heavy dose of situational work from the “fringe” — the area just past midfield but before the red zone. Last week saw an emphasis on the two-minute drill, as the Seahawks build the base scenario by scenario.
It’s all part of Coach Pete Carroll’s one-day-at-a-time mentality, where the small parts add up to the large whole.
“We’ve had a terrific attitude and the tempo has been awesome throughout these OTAs so far,” Carroll said. “We don’t want to miss a chance at getting better each day.”
