LenDale White’s life has been anything but simple lately.
In the last two-plus weeks, the tailback has watched as heavy storms flooded his Nashville neighborhood and coped with the death of his grandfather, all while dealing with the rigors of a move caused by a recent trade from Tennessee to Seattle.
It’s been a rough few weeks for White, to say the least.
White visited Nashville last week for the first time since the floods earlier this month, finding only minor water damage to his home but being shaken by the dramatic destruction around the city.
“Some people lost everything,” White said. “I’ve never seen anything like that. It looked like Katrina.”
