Offseason? What offseason?

The biggest misnomer in football writhes on as the supposed quiet months of the year continue to be filled with bountiful activity at the Seahawks’ Renton headquarters. The offseason workout program started March 15, and since then, the players have gone through 29 strength and conditioning workouts, eight practices, two minicamps and two days of OTAs. That’s not including the extended hours and long days coaches have spent studying and watching film during the last few months.

“The work our guys are doing will be the foundation for what we will become this season,” Coach Pete Carroll said.

The players get a breather starting today, though. Following this morning’s meetings and practice, the Seahawks are off through the weekend and will return for OTA No. 3 on Monday morning.
