The Seahawks have made another roster move at wide receiver, claiming Kole Heckendorf off waivers and releasing Chris Duvalt.
Duvalt, an undrafted rookie from Illinois, was signed after receiving a tryout at the team’s last minicamp.
Heckendorf (6-2, 191) spent the 2009 season on the Detroit Lions practice squad, but was released this week. He was originally signed out of North Dakota State by the Green Bay Packers last year, but released during the preseason.
Heckendorf was born in Wausau, Wis., and grew up 90 minutes from Lambeau Field. He was an all-state player at Mosinee (Wis.) High School before catching 178 passes for 2,732 yards and 17 touchdowns at North Dakota State.
