The offseason strength and conditioning program has reached its halfway point, and it appears the Seahawks are pulling in an A-plus on their midterm report card.
“The effort has been out of this world,” head strength and conditioning coach Chris Carlisle said. “Their focus, intensity and the way they went about their work — it’s all just been so special to watch.”
This week saw workouts on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with the players getting today off in preparation for the weekend minicamp, which begins tomorrow. The offseason program has reached its midpoint, as the seventh of 14 weeks has now been completed, with impressive halfway milestones to boot.
“Everyone has truly bought in,” Carlisle said. “It showed in the first minicamp and I don’t doubt it’ll show again this weekend.
“We’re excited for our next step. The players are ready to go.”
