The scouts and team executives aren’t the only ones working brutal hours during the draft.

The Seahawks’ food service staff is logging overtime, as well.

The full-service meal providers have been churning out high-quality food around the clock, including three meals and several snacks a day throughout the draft. They wrapped up their dinner service and cleanup late last night and then the staffers were back serving breakfast and making made-to-order omelets for the football staffers before 7 a.m. this morning.

That leads to one question: Are they getting any sleep?

“Not too much,” said a chuckling Mac McNabb, executive chef at Virginia Mason Athletic Center. “Day 3 is the toughest.”
