The draft gets started in less than 90 minutes, and the feeling around the Seahawk offices remains as calm as can be.
With their prep work finalized and the hours of homework is the past, coaches and team executives have spent much of the afternoon putting together playbooks, working out in the weight room or relaxing around the office — basically anything but draft-focused duties. After nearly a year of preparation, they can’t really do much more in these waning moments.
Inside the draft room, it’ll be a drastically different story come 4:30 p.m. The Seahawks draft headquarters will be a bunker of buzz throughout the rest of the night and carrying on through the weekend.
