A Seahawk in the Big Apple

In case you’re wondering, the Seahawks will have one representative in Radio City Music Hall for the NFL Draft this weekend.

Longtime director of video Thom Fermstad has flown to New York to represent the organization at the NFL Draft, acting as the liaison between the Seahawks’ draft headquarters in Renton and the official draft proceedings in Manhattan. Because of today’s technology, general manager John Schneider, head coach Pete Carroll and the rest of the team’s draft personnel can remain bunkered in the War Room at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center — while still being in constant communication with Fermstad throughout the three-day affair.
