The NFL will release the complete 2010 schedule Tuesday at 4 p.m. on NFL Network, and while most fans are eager for the announcement, at least one person won’t be watching.
Head coach Pete Carroll isn’t going to be tuning in for the primetime television program tomorrow afternoon, saying the schedule release doesn’t matter at all to him or the Seahawks. It’s a similar mindset he subscribed to while coaching at USC, with Carroll only focusing on the things he can control, like practice, film watching and other preparations.
The schedule, therefore, doesn’t fall into that category.
“It is what it is,” Carroll said with a shrug. “There’s nothing we can do about it, so there’s no reason to let it faze us or even become a consideration for us.”
