It’s been a little more than three months since the Seahawks hired Pete Carroll, but the players have now finished up just their second day of working with the new coach and his staff.
And the initial reviews seem to be nothing but positive.
“He’s a lot cooler than I thought,” quarterback Matt Hasselbeck said of Carroll. “His team meetings that he runs are awesome. They’re interesting and not boring.”
By unanimous opinion, practices are more up-tempo and energetic. Meetings have become exciting and revered. And even the players’ words sound a lot like an echo of what Carroll tells them in meetings and on the field.
“We’re really buying into everything Coach Carroll is preaching to us,” quarterback Charlie Whitehurst said.
