By all accounts, the Pete Carroll era, albeit just a day old, has brought energy and noise to the Seahawk practice mentality.
Lots of it.
The first practice of the offseason delivered copious amounts of enthusiasm and sound, and this morning’s walk-thru inside the Virginia Mason Athletic Center produced much of the same. Maybe even more.
During the brief walk-thru this morning, the indoor facility morphed into a chatterbox, as loud clapping, banter, cadences, instruction and celebration echoed off the walls and filled the cavernous arena with quite the clamor. Sound is a staple of a Carroll-led workout, with the emphasis centered on creating energy through din.
“We all feed off each other and feel each other’s enthusiasm,” Carroll explained. “We’ve got to create and capture that every day to truly be at our best.”
