Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck will participate when the Seahawks take to the practice field in a few minutes to begin preparing for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Qwest Field.
Coach Jim Mora made that announced just a few minutes ago on his weekly news conference.
Whether Hasselbeck plays against the Jaguars will be determined by how much he can do in practice and how his fractured rib feels afterward.
Hasselbeck has not practiced since having his rib fractured in the Week 2 loss to the 49ers.
Left tackle Walter Jones will not return until after the Week 7 bye at the earliest, Mora said. The club is giving Jones time off to let the pain subside in his surgically repaired left knee.
