1980: The Seahawks score twice in the fourth quarter, but the rally in their season finale falls short as they fall to the Broncos 25-17 at the Kingdome to cap a nine-game losing streak.
1997: Warren Moon passes for four touchdowns as the Seahawks finish 8-8 by slapping the playoff-bound 49ers with a 38-9 loss in the season finale at the Kingdome. Joey Galloway catches six passes for 101 yards and two scores, while Mike Pritchard has six receptions for 90 yards and a TD. The linebacking crew of Michael Barber, Chad Brown and Dean Wells leads the defensive effort by combining for 25 tackles.
2003: Shaun Alexander runs for 135 yards and two touchdowns, including a 44-yarder, and the defense sacks Cardinals QB Josh McCown eight times in a 28-10 victory in Seattle.
2008: The Seahawks send Mike Holmgren out a winner in his final home game as coach with a 13-3 victory over the Jets on a snowy afternoon in Seattle. Maurice Morris runs for 116 yards and Seneca Wallace passes to John Carlson for the game’s only touchdown, while Josh Wilson interceptions Brett Favre twice.

1978: Al Hunter runs for 133 yards and two touchdowns, including a 55-yarder, and Jim Zorn passes 57 yards to Steve Largent for another score as the Seahawks close their third season with a 23-19 victory over the Chiefs at the Kingdome.
1989: John L. Williams catches 12 passes for 129 yards and a touchdown and Norm Johnson kicks three field goals in a 23-17 victory over the Raiders at the Kingdome.
1995: Chris Warren rushes for 105 yards and three touchdowns, Joey Galloway catches five passes for 108 yards, including a 43-yard TD, and Michael Sinclair leads the defensive effort with two sacks in a 44-10 victory over the Raiders at the Kingdome.

1978: The Seahawks take a 10-3 lead on Jim Zorn’s touchdown pass to David Sims and a 48-yard field goal by Efren Herrera, but Dan Fouts passes for three TDs in rallying the Chargers to 37-10 victory in San Diego.
1989: Dave Krieg throws a 1-yard touchdown pass to Curt Warner early in the fourth quarter as the Seahawks win 24-17 over the Bengals in Cincinnati. The game-winner is Krieg’s third TD pass of the day.
1995: Chris Warren catches a 20-yard touchdown pass from John Friesz with 49 second to play, giving the Seahawks a 31-27 victory over the Broncos at Mile High Stadium. Friesz also passes 5 yards to Joey Galloway with 4:10 remaining as the Seahawks overcome a 27-14 deficit. Warren also runs for 101 yards and a TD, while Brian Blades catches seven passes for 127 yards. The defense, meanwhile, intercepts John Elway three times and forces the three-and-out that sets up the game-winning TD.
2000: Jon Kitna passes for three touchdowns and 298 yards, but the Broncos take a 24-3 lead and hold on for a 31-24 victory at Mile High Stadium.
2006: Matt Hasselbeck’s fourth-and-20 pass to Deion Branch goes for 18 yards, and to the Arizona 7-yard line, as the Cardinals hang on for a 27-21 victory in the desert. Hasselbeck passes for three touchdowns, but Edgerrin James runs for 115 yards and a TD and Matt Leinart passes for two TDs for the Cardinals.

1981: Dave Krieg passes for two touchdowns and runs for a third in a 27-23 victory over the Jets at the Kingdome. Krieg’s third TD pass, a 57-yarder to Steve Largent, comes with 6:39 left in the game. Largent finishes with seven catches for 169 yards.
1987: Frank Pollard scores on an 11-yard run with four seconds to play, giving the Steelers a 13-9 victory over the Seahawks in Pittsburgh.
1992: The Steelers score 10 points in the final 2½ minutes to pull out a 20-14 victory over the Seahawks in Pittsburgh.
1998: In the infamous Vinny-Testaverde’s-white-helmet-looks-like-a-brown-football game, the Jets’ QB is awarded a phantom touchdown with 20 seconds to play and the Jets take a 32-31 victory over the Seahawks in the Meadowlands. Joey Galloway has two catches for 127 yards, including a 70-yard TD.
2004: Matt Hasselbeck passes for 414 yards and three touchdowns, but the Cowboys score two TDs in the final 1:45 in pulling out a wild 43-39 victory on “Monday Night Football” in Seattle.
2009: Olindo Mare kicks a 30-yard field goal as time expires and Matt Hasselbeck passes for two touchdowns in a 20-17 victory over the 49ers in Seattle.
A look at the memorable moments in Seahawks history that occurred on Nov. 29:
1981: The Seahawks take a 24-3 lead at the Kingdome, but the Raiders storm back to score 29 unanswered points in the second half and escape with a 32-31 victory. The Seahawks also lose QB Jim Zorn to a broken ankle in the fourth quarter, which also sidelines him for the final three games.
1998: Todd Peterson kicks a 48-yard field goal with one second remaining in a 20-18 victory over the Titans at the Kingdome. Jon Kitna throws touchdown passes to Joey Galloway and James McKnight and Ricky Watters has 126 yards rushing and receiving.
2009: Justin Forsett runs for two touchdowns and Josh Wilson returns an interception 65 yards for a score in a 27-17 victory over the Rams, which runs the Seahawks’ winning streak in St. Louis to five in a row.

1987: The Seahawks force five turnovers and the defense shuts out the Packers in the second half of a 24-13 victory at the Kingdome. Curt Warner runs for 123 yards.
1992: The defense holds the Raiders to 188 yards, but the offense generates only a 43-yard field goal by John Kasay late in the fourth quarter of a 20-3 loss in Los Angeles.
1998: Joey Galloway returns a punt 56 yards for a touchdown and Chad Brown has two sacks in his 10-tackle effort, but Greg Davis kicks a 38-yard field goal with 21 seconds remaining to give the Raiders a 20-17 victory in Oakland.
2009: Matt Hasselbeck throws 52 passes in 315-yard performance, T.J. Houshmandzadeh catches nine passes for 165 yards and Justin Forsett runs for 123 yards and a touchdown, but the Cardinals score 14 points in the fourth quarter to take a 31-20 victory in Arizona.

1984: Kenny Easley intercepts two passes and Dave Krieg throws two touchdown passes in a 17-14 victory over the Raiders at the Kingdome on “Monday Night Football.”
1995: Joey Galloway rolls up 237 all-purpose yards in a 47-30 victory over the Jaguars in Jacksonville. Galloway’s all-purpose day includes an 86-yard run for the touchdown and TD catches of 38 and 23 yards as part of his five-catch, 114-yard effort.
2000: Jon Kitna earns AFC offensive player of the week honors as he completes 22 of 33 passes for 231 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-21 win over the Jaguars in Jacksonville. Ricky Watters also scores twice.
2006: Josh Brown kicks a 38-yard field goal with nine seconds remaining to give the Seahawks a 24-22 victory over the Rams in Seattle. It is Brown’s third game-winning kick of the season.
2007: The defense sacks 49ers quarterback Alex Smith three times and hit him seven other times in a 24-0 victory on “Monday Night Football” in Seattle. D.J. Hackett leads the offense with eight catches for 101 yards and a touchdown. Jeff Ulbrich, now the Seahawks assistant special teams coach but then a 49ers linebacker, has a game-high 10 tackles.

1980: The Chiefs rally for 21 points in the fourth quarter to grab a 31-30 victory over the Seahawks at the Kingdome, as Jim Zorn throws five interceptions.
1997: Warren Moon and Joey Galloway hookup on game-winning 40-yard touchdown pass with 2:20 left in a 37-31 victory over the Chargers in San Diego. But the Seahawks lose Pro Bowl defensive tackle Cortez Kennedy to a season-ending ankle injury.
2003: Wide receiver Rod Gardner throws a 10-yard touchdown pass to running back Trung Canidate with less than two minutes remaining to give the Redskins a 27-20 victory over the visiting Seahawks, who were up 14-3 and then down 20-17 in the game.
2008: In their first trip to Miami since 2000, the Seahawks fall behind 14-0 and then rally before losing to the Dolphins 21-19. Jordan Babineaux returns an interception 35 yards for a touchdown for the Seahawks.

1995: Joey Galloway returns a punt a club-record 89 yards for a touchdown to spark a 30-28 victory over the New York Giants at the Kingdome. Brian Blades also catches two first-quarter TD passes, as the Seahawks snap a four-game losing streak – and begin a stretch where they win six times in seven games.
2000: Rian Lindell kicks a 48-yard field goal as time expires to give the Seahawks a 17-15 victory over the San Diego Chargers at Husky Stadium. The Seahawks have just 128 yards of total offense, but Jon Kitna throws TD passes to Sean Dawkins and Christian Fauria.
A look at the memorable moments in Seahawks history that occurred on Oct. 26:
1997: Warren Moon, at the age of 40, passes for 409 yards and five touchdowns in a 45-34 win over the Raiders at the Kingdome. Three of the TD passes go to Joey Galloway. Moon’s 409 passing yards prove to be the single-game high in the NFL for the season.
2008: Mike Holmgren collects his 172nd regular-season victory to move into sole possession of the 10th spot on the NFL’s all-time list as the Seahawks defeat the 49ers 34-13 in San Francisco – where Holmgren grew up and also coached.
