The Seahawks finish with 10-6 record, including victories over both teams that advance to the Super Bowl (the Broncos and Giants), but do not make the playoffs.

1992: Loss No. 13 in the Seahawks’ 2-14 season comes in Denver, as Gaston Green scores the only touchdown in the Broncos’ 10-6 win at Mile High Stadium. The defense intercepts John Elway three times and forces three fumbles, while Chris Warren runs for 97 yards in the loss.

1998: The Seahawks score 17 points in the final 10 minutes to pull out a 27-23 victory over the Colts at the Kingdome, as Ricky Watters has a 33-yard touchdown run, Shawn Springs returns a fumble 14 yards for a TD and Todd Peterson kicks a 30-yard field goal. Watters finishes with 178 rushing yards in Dennis Erickson final home game as coach of his hometown NFL team.

2009: The Buccaneers score 24 unanswered points in a 24-7 victory over the Seahawks in Seattle. Matt Hasselbeck passes 29 yards to John Carlson for the Seahawks’ only points, but also throws four interceptions.

1998: Joey Galloway returns a punt 56 yards for a touchdown and Chad Brown has two sacks in his 10-tackle effort, but Greg Davis kicks a 38-yard field goal with 21 seconds remaining to give the Raiders a 20-17 victory in Oakland.

2009: Matt Hasselbeck throws 52 passes in 315-yard passing performance, T.J. Houshmandzadeh catches nine passes for 165 yards and Justin Forsett runs for 123 yards and a touchdown, but the Cardinals score 14 points in the fourth quarter to take a 31-20 victory in Arizona.

A look at a memorable moment in Seahawks history that occurred on June 12:

Perhaps not. But you’d probably recognize one of the posters that lifted the Seattle siblings to notoriety from 1986-90.

Like the one with then-Seahawks strong safety Kenny Easley standing on Easley St. in a leather vest, with his forearms taped and his face in full-intimidation mode. It’s called “The Enforcer.”

Or, the one with then-linebacker Brian Bosworth in “The Land of Boz,” complete with a Boz-kin and Toto-totting Dorothy.

The Costacos’ creativity is being recognized in an exhibit at Salon 94 in Manhattan. The “For the Kids” exhibition opens today, and serves as a mini-retrospective of the posters that adorned many a wall of many a teenage boy when the Costacos posters were “must-have” items.

Tock, 51, is retired and living in Nevada, while John, 50, is an indie film producer.

But their wild-and-crazy ideas that became posters live on. The exhibit runs through July 30. More information, not to mention a look at that Easley poster, is available here.
