Piggy-backing off of last week’s country music theme courtesy of Kenny Chesney and his visit to Virginia Mason Athletic Center and ensuing concert at CenturyLink Field, today we revisit the story of former Seahawks employee turned country music artist Chance McKinney, whose album Think About That debuted over the weekend at No. 62 on the iTunes country music charts. Think About That is the third album release from McKinney, whose career took off in 2009 when he won CMT’s Music City Madness title – the search for the No. 1 unsigned artist in the nation – with more than 1 million votes cast. McKinney previously wore many hats for the Seahawks organization – selling tickets, setting up of community events, and representing the club’s public relations staff. A former division I All-American in javelin at Washington State University, McKinney would go on to coach track at the University of Washington while teaching math at Seattle-area high schools before pursuing his career in country music full-time.

You can find the 11-track release from McKinney on the iTunes Store, and you can stay up on everything from the rising artist by “Liking” his page on Facebook, or by giving him a follow on Twitter @ChanceMcKinney.
