The 2014 NFL Draft will be held May 8-10 at Radio City Hall in New York City, the league informed teams this morning.
The venue is the same, but not the dates because of a scheduling conflict at Radio City. Moving the draft to May also is part of the revamping of the league schedule that Commissioner Roger Goodell addressed last week, but clubs also were informed that there would be no significant changes in other offseason events:
The National Combine in Indianapolis will be held from Feb. 18-25, and preceded by several regional combines to be held on various dates from Jan. 24-Feb. 16.
The League Year, and free agency period, will begin March 11.
The annual owners meeting in Orlando, Fla., will be held March 23-26.
