The search for a new co-host of 710 ESPN Seattle’s morning show has come to an end.
Former Seattle Times Seahawks beat reporter Danny O’Neil will join former University of Washington and Seahawks quarterback Brock Huard as co-host of “Brock and Danny,” 710Sports.com announced today.
O’Neil replaces former co-host Mike Salk of “Brock and Salk,” who left the program last month for a position in his hometown of Boston. After 11 years at the Seattle Times, O’Neil will now cover the Seahawks exclusively for the station’s website.
“I am extremely grateful and honored to be working with Brock, who is a true professional behind the mic, and on-and-off the field,” O’Neil said to 710Sports.com. “I look forward to this new challenge and officially being part of this 710 ESPN Seattle team.”
The “Brock and Danny” show will remain in the 9am-noon time slot and the program will make it’s debut on Monday, April 15.
