A look at some memorable moments in Seahawks history that occurred on March 9:
2001: Former Washington State defensive tackle Chad Eaton signs with the Seahawks in free agency and starts 32 games over two seasons. He had 73 tackles in 2002.
2004: Darrell Jackson is re-signed to a multiyear contract. He leads the team in receiving that season, for the third of four times in his seven-year stint with the Seahawks. By the time he was traded to the 49ers during the 2007 NFL Draft, Jackson ranked fourth in franchise history in receptions (441), third in receiving yards (6,445) and second in touchdown catches (47).
