The folks at NFL.com have put together a nice week-by-week look at the 2012 season in pictures and videos, and Russell Wilson appears twice.
First is the Week 6 victory over the Patriots at CenturyLink Field, as the Seahawks’ rookie QB added Tom Brady to a list of marquee quarterbacks faced and dispatched that already included the Packers’ Aaron Rodgers (Week 3) and Cowboys’ Tony Romo (Week 2).
Next is the Week 13 overtime victory against the Bears in Chicago, where Wilson led a 12-play, 97-yard touchdown drive that allowed the Seahawks to take a 17-14 lead with 24 seconds to play and then a 12-play, 80-yard TD drive in OT after the Bears had tied the score at the end of regulation.
The Seahawks’ wild-card playoff game also makes the cut, but because of the injury to Redskins rookie QB Robert Griffin III – not Wilson rallying the Seahawks from a 14-0 deficit to a 24-14 victory.
Not on the list is the Seahawks’ 42-13 victory over the eventual NFC Champion 49ers in Week 16, a game that NFL.com’s Adam Schein called the “most impressive win” of the season and a game in which Wilson threw four TD passes.
