Breanna Norris to represent Seahawks at NFL’s Punt, Pass & Kick National Finals

NFL Punt, Pass, Kick

Breanna Norris of Boise, Idaho will represent the Seahawks in Sunday’s Punt, Pass & Kick National Finals at the NFC divisional-round playoff game between the Seahawks and Falcons

The Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons won’t be the only ones competing on Sunday, January 13 at the Georgia Dome.

The NFL Punt, Pass & Kick challenge will follow the Seahawks to Atlanta for their National Finals, and Breanna Norris of Boise, Idaho will represent the Seahawks at the competition and festivities.

The challenge pits boys and girls ages 6-15 against one another in a challenge of punting, passing and kicking a football, with scores on based on both distance and accuracy. For example, if a participant passes the ball 100 feet, but the ball lands 25 feet to the right of the measuring tape, the final score is calculated by deducting 25′ from 100′, for a final score of 75′. Boys and girls compete separately from one another, and participants are divided into competition groups based on their age.

Norris (8-9 year old girls) qualified for the National Finals by beating out the competition on December 9, 2012 at CenturyLink Field when the Seahawks hosted the Arizona Cardinals. Norris posted scores of 68′ (punt), 47.5′ (pass), and 62′ (kick) for a total distance of 177.5′ that landed her at No. 3 out of 32 among all girls ages 8-9 who competed nationally in the competition at their respective NFL stadiums during the regular season.

The NFL will provide each participant and their guests with air transportation to Atlanta, hotel accommodations, game tickets, meals and entertainment.
