Hill active for Seahawks

Leroy Hill

Veteran linebacker Leroy Hill is active for today’s game against the Cardinals despite being limited in practice all week with the sprained ankle that forced him to miss last week’s game against Bears.

Whether Hill starts for the Seahawks remains to be seen, after second-year linebacker Malcolm Smith played well in Hill’s absence last week. What the Seahawks lose in experience with Hill, they gain in speed with Smith.

“We’ve become faster with him on the field,” is the way defensive coordinator Gus Bradley put it.

Inactive for the Seahawks:

WR Charly Martin

CB Marcus Trufant

CB DeShawn Shead

CB Ron Parker

OG Rishaw Johnson

OT Mike Person

DT Jaye Howard

Also, Paul McQuistan will start at left guard and John Moffitt at right guard, which is where they were lining up in practice during the week.

Inactive of the Cardinals

QB Kevin Kolb

WR LaRon Byrd

CB Jamell Fleming

OG Senio Kelemete

OT Pat McQuistan

TE Kory Sperry
