In a nutshell: Lions 28-24. The Lions took the lead when Matthew Stafford scored on a 1-yard run on the sixth play of the quarter to cap a nine-play, 56-yard drive that started in the third quarter. But Russell Wilson then led the Seahawks on a 12-play, 87-yard drive to his 16-yard TD pass to Zach Miller that gave the Seahawks a 24-21 led with 5½ minutes left. But, part II, the Lions came roaring back. Stafford hit Titus Young with a 1-yard TD pass – on third-and-goal – to cap a 16-play, 80-yard drive.
Player of the quarter: Stafford. He ran for one score and passed for the other to pull this one out for the Lions – twice. Wilson, meanwhile, was 5 of 7 for 66 yards on the Seahawks scoring drive, including an 18-yard pass to Sidney Rice on third-and-10 and another 18-yarder to Rice to the Lions’ 40.
Plays of the quarter: On fouth-and-2 from the Lions’ 32-yard line, Wilson hit Golden Tate on slate for a 6-yard gain that prolonged the Seahawks’ scoring drive. But that was trumped by Stafford’s pass to Young.
