Player of the quarter: Marshawn Lynch. It was like the Seahawks’ Beast Mode back was trying to will the Seahawks to score. On the drive to Hauschka’s field goal, he caught two passes for 21 yards and carried twice for 11 yards. On the drive that ended the quarter, Lynch had a 7-yard run and 8-yard reception to get the ball rolling.
Plays of the quarter: The Rams’ special teams were on it to open the half. After Jo-Lonn Dunbar recovered Hauschka’s onside kick off at the Seahawks’ 48-yard line, rookie Greg Zuerlein kicked a 60-yard field goal – breaking his club-record 58-yard effort from the first half.
